Dear White People
Justin Simien’s debut feature film Dear White People takes a satirical look at “post-racial” identity politics at the fictional Ivy League college Winchester University. The story follows a group of black students as they negotiate the complexities of college life, ambition and love at a predominately white institution where conceptions of “being black” are a ready source of controversy and conflict.
